Three years ago, I had a dream. It arrived in grayscale, soft, blurred.  A mansion, buried in a forest. A gown I've never worn. And him...

A man with a gaze like twilight. A stranger impossible to recognize, impossible to forget. He offered his hand without speaking, and I followed. He offered his hand without speaking, and I followed. Inside, beneath a broken chandelier, he placed a pearl necklace around my neck. We danced a slow, aching waltz. He was distant, romantic, mysterious. A man carved from something I could never reach. 

I wanted to capture his essence. His softness. His mystery. All of it, here, in this bottle.
